'Terrifier' starts off really well, great even. Despite the slightness of the story that doesn't really do👄 anything new, the first half was tightly paced and genuinely scary and suspenseful with well-timed shocks. The killings are gory,👄 without being gratuitously so while not holding back, nail-biting and inventive.
The second film does an excellent job of adding to the blood and gore👄 expected of the franchise but fails to capture some of the shock value that made the first film terrifying. Art👄 is also established in the town's lore by the second film, so his presence doesn't loom as large.
